About X+ stand
My name is Stojan Mitrić, i'm form Serbia. I'm studying software engineering on Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, so most of my time i've spent sitting at the table with my laptop. I wanted to improve our "relationship" with something that will ease my backpain and pain in the neck, and improve performance of my laptop and extend it's life. So i decided to move myself from a chair to bed and to move my laptop from table to something that will provide it with better cooling and give us better interaction. That's how the idea of creating X+ laptop stand for bed came to my mind.
Process of creation
I wanted that something to be wearable and the smallest as it could be to hold a laptop. Something that will look nice and be made of materials that will last long, I've created this unique design that provide you with opportunity of holding your laptop between your legs to give you better interaction usability of your laptop. You don't have to use it that way, it can stand by itself also thanks to its unique design:
So it wasn't just a walk in the park,there were few prototypes:
But i think i finally made that something that would help people use their laptops in bed, and i think there are many of them who have that need for the X+ stand.
Reason for raising funds
All this prototypes i've made by hand with basic old fashion tools in my workshop(X+ stand as well). It is totally functional(i'm using X+ stand at the moment i'm writing this :) ), but currently it looks little rough for mass production which i would like to start if i raise enough funds to buy new machines that would provide me with technology to make X+ stand look professional and have very good quality. I also have in mind some improvements that i'm not able to create without these machines.
