Who are we? We are a sports club called A-team, founded in 2006. Wow, it’s been 10 years… Where does the "A" come from? It comes from the place which sparked our passion towards extreme sports. Ever since we were kids we have had a dream. A dream of a having a place to practice the sports we love. We are now grown up but our dream still stands. Furthermore, we have focused on developing the next generation of like-minded people. In today’s world kids tend to pay more attention to the virtual world rather than the one surrounding them. We are devoted to providing them with the chance to experience something different, something you can’t experience on your phone or computer.

For the past ten years we have worked our way up to operating one of the most popular windsurf schools in Bulgaria and have attracted thousands of people towards adventure sports. Now we are a step away of realizing that same dream we had as kids – an adventure park right next to the beach! Giving endless possibilities for experiencing all sorts of sports, all at one place! We want to teach kids to live a dynamic and healthy life. Those sports are not only fun, they develop
important interpersonal skills such as
leadership, competitiveness, team work,
discipline, problem solving and many more. To be fair, this might as well be
the best way to obtain those!
Of course, creating friendships and socializing is an essential part of the whole experience. We have formed a strong community and aim to expand it so that more people can get a feel of this adventurous and fun lifestyle.

So, the Xchallenge project – as you may have guessed it is an adventure park. It combines a skate pool, a dirt bike track and a rope garden. The park is very close to the existing windsurf/paddle board base and a wakeboard cable track. Together they provide a rare opportunity to try
out a rich combination of
activities. Sounds like the dream we talked about, right? Exactly. With the amount of people we have drawn towards adventure sports this park is more of a need than just an awesome place to have fun. Best part is that we are very close to completing this ambitious endeavor. The park is 70% finished, the dirt track, skate pool and rope garden are already in place. There’s also a fence and lights around it. Still, there is almost a third left, namely the infrastructure. We need to build the toilets and bathroom facilities, pathways, benches and a camp zone. We need your help to make it all work!
What We Need & What You Get
Let's get to the point in
order to finish the project, we need EUR 40 000 which will be spent on building a camp site,
toilets, bathrooms, land-shafting, seating, play corner and a special place for
exercising. Basically everything to make this an incredible
place which is the first of its kind in Bulgaria!

Now,
even if we don't reach our financing
target, we will still invest every penny in developing the park
and bringing it a step closer to perfection! We are committed to reaching our end
goal and making this amazing place for both kids and adults to enjoy!
The Impact
Your contribution will help to give kids the
opportunity to get away from a stale way of life.We might have not had this opportunity as kids, but we want to make sure the next generation would! Children will be able to try out different
sports, create new friendships and learn
to appreciate and love nature! Not only that but this will be a great way to
stay fit, healthy and happy! What more do we need to say? Oh, yes, grown-ups
will have the time of their life too
Do we have the experience to do it? We have plenty. We have
organized numerous events such as the annual windsurf regatta at Arapya,
Bulgaria, attracting more than a hundred
participants from all ages! Our portfolio includes partnerships with Sofia
Municipality for carrying out the annual International Children's day SUP Fest at lake Ariana in the very centre of Sofia! Those projects and the
many more we have carried out have proven to be a great success and we have attracted
a great amount of people to adventure sports.
Risks & Challenges
We
have had plenty of challenges before we got to where we are at the moment. We
managed to find a great location and build a skate pool, dirt track and a rope
garden! Trust us, it wasn't easy. The greatest challenge we are facing at the
moment is gathering the resources to put the final touches.
We risk falling behind schedule and having to postpone the opening for another
year. We have worked so much
and are too close to the target to accept that. This is why we are kindly
asking for your help. Let's make our dreams
from when we were kids come
true!
Our
team comprises of professionals with many years of experience. Not only
experience in extreme sports, but also in organizing, managing and
promoting big events and competitions. We believe we have the contacts,
the motivation and skills to complete the project and bring this park to
life!
