Hello!
We're Split The Dealer and Deva St. John. Our collaboration single, XV, is due to release in February/March. Following a few set backs, we've launched this Indiegogo to try and create a PR budget, as well as improve our overall music video budget.
Here's the little spiel about us:
- Split The Dealer is an alternative pop artist. He has received a lot of support from UNILAD Sound and BBC Introducing. A previous collaboration was featured on Radio 1, he's supported singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt, and he embarked on a UK tour in 2018.
- Deva St. John is an alternative rock artist. She had a successful 2019, performing for Sofar Sounds in August, securing a Youth Music award nomination in October, and has received a lot of support from BBC Introducing, most recently playing on Huw Stephens' Introducing show in January on BBC Radio 1.
We've pulled our pennies together, and have been able to create a decent recording, mastering and a basic music video budget. Using Skye's Patreon, and Sam's pub-work pay checks, we're off to a pretty good start. However, publicity is a whole other ball game. Our video budget is also so small, that we can't really afford the ideal location or equipment.

We've come up with a few pretty cool ideas that we hope you'll love!

- These days, the entertainment industry is just as interested in how many likes and followers you have than the actual content you produce. Your social media support is valuable currency in our field of work, so showing your support on social media is a massive help!
- Spread the word! Make some noise! Share this with your friends and family. That, too, is a massive help.
