Where the Money Goes

Contributions will fund 6-10 days of filming at various locations, including the homes of characters and their families, and the workplace of our expert sources. More specifically, this money will go towards: 

• Rental of professional camera and sound equipment 
• The time of a very talented, close-knit crew
• Food, travel, and lodging for the crew and characters as needed

The Impact

This film is on a mission to amplify the conversation about the intricacies of abuse within the troubled teen industry. By backing this project, you are standing in solidarity with survivors of institutional child abuse and a team who believes the children of today deserve better institutionalized mental healthcare tomorrow. With enough buzz, this film can apply necessary pressure to federal legislation to increase regulations around private institutions for troubled youth.
