The making of You Got Ma'amed has been a fantastic journey so far. The film is a humorous take on a women’s psyche after being referred to as “Ma’am.” Calvin and Kate’s night out hits a sour note when she is called the hated four-letter word. Calvin chuckles and shows little empathy to Kate's new label. Arriving home, sparks fly between husband and wife, Kate’s mom, and the pizza delivery girl.
Did someone order a pizza?!?
We are in the final stages of post-production and can't wait for audiences to see it.
We are already receiving critical acclaim!
“This screenplay offers … great wit, humor and insight…. Calvin and Kate’s mom feel like fully realized, well-developed characters, and their banter with each other is funny, swiftly-paced and dynamic." - SLAMDANCE

All of the proceeds raised by this fundraiser will go toward film festival submission fees and associated costs. We have 30 film festivals on our submission list for now - with fees ranging from $25 (ie Boston Shorts) to $80 (ie Sundance). Submission is not a guarantee - there is a competitive selection process. We are confident in our work and are excited for the process.

We plan on submitting to festivals nationwide plus several internationally. That said ... nearly 40% of the festivals on our submission list are local (NY/NJ/PA), which would make seeing You Got Ma'amed on the big screen extremely doable for our local supporters!
