Hello there, I'm Ron Bonk, owner of SRS Cinema (an indie production & distribution company now in its 30th year). I am working with legendary director Mark Polonia ("Splatter Farm", "Sand World", "Doll Shark") to bring you the Christmas horror movie "Yule Log".
"The woods are alive with evil and monstrous, ancient entities! Two friends take their buddy to a secluded cabin to take his mind off the recent loss of his wife. What they don't expect is a night of terror after they unknowingly burn wood from a tree that has grown from a mound once used to burn a powerful witch! The cursed timber re-awakens dark spirits and creatures, forcing them, and a stranded woman, to fight for their lives during the Night of Mothers. This Yule Log burns forever, in hell!"
This will be my third Christmas horror collaboration with Mark, and we've enjoyed great success with the prior ones, "Hell on the Shelf" and "Sister Krampus". Mark is planning some stop-motion for this one too!
We've set the goal low - $1000. This is not the budget of the movie, but it will help us make the movie that much better - plus by setting a low goal, we are hoping to be funded early and get the movie trending! The money raised here will help us bring in actors, order props, create the special effects, and feed/shelter the talent. Everyone knows who Mark is, his output is amazing, he has created so many cult movies, and was even covered by Entertainment Weekly! And you know he starts a movie, it WILL get made (and with SRS behind him, a guaranteed release too). He's enjoyed little to no profits on most of these movies, and it's not even his full time job (how he makes so many movies, AND work 40 hours a week, I have no idea). I've produced many movies, and many more with other filmmakers, and I have a reputation of getting these projects delivered and out into the market, and my prior campaigns have rave reviews. I am certain, with your help, we can deliver Marks' best movie yet!
