WHY THE YX ONE USES
A CONNECTED CONTROL HANDLE

When the rider is turning, at speed over a certain "G"-force, body weight on the board alone is insufficient. Greaterdownward force is needed to make the board tilt and turn ina more precise and controlled manner.

When the rider ‘pulls’ on the handle, much like wind surfing, it ‘forces’ his or her weight down towards the board, instead of the rider out toward ground!

Rider balance: much like a rodeo, the rider uses one arm to stay on board and the other to provide balance and stability at speed.

Jumping: especially landing, you need to be sure the board is staying with you, with the connected control handle, the rider and the board stay as one.

Disk Brake: The powerful disk brake is a unique feature of the YX ONE. Disk braking works most effectively when directly connected, Bluetooth connections are prone to problems, that put riders at risk.

Manoeuvrability: when not riding, the connected control handle allows you to easily manoeuvre the board,in urban or tight spaces, making it easier to rotate, pivot or lift it, or justto walk it alongside you, like a dog on a lead!

YX ONE has being engineered and extensively tested on harsh off-roadenvironments. From inception we’ve focused on build quality and durability YX ONE’s steal frame, toughened plastic outer shell and expansion springs, make for a solid all terrain ride experience. The wheel hub, rear mud flap and skid plate, provide additional board and rider protection. Made with advanced components and battery system, designed to meet UL safety standards.

Soon after graduating as an engineer, I began to imagine the ultimate transportation solution. Core to my quest was my love for snowboarding and windsurfing and how to achieve that same exhilarating experience on land. So I invented what I call ‘tilt board’ the safe and ultimate land surfer!

Over the past number of years, I’ve built these boards in my home and sold them locally. But I wanted to bring it to the wider world. So, I began to imagine a version that could be manufactured at scale and quality. So, I sought partners who could help me realise my vision.

In support of Eyal’s mission to bring this tried and tested product to the wider world, we’ve worked hard this year to build and complete our prototypes. But this is only the beginning and we’ll soon enter the tooling and production planning phase, in order to have the YX ONE available for next Summer. We’ve assembled an experienced team of truly international partners to help us successfully deliver the YX ONE project. Having being invented in Israel, updated in South Africa, production will now be led from Australia, and our business has offices in the US and Europe. My background is in the wheeled goods brands space, I grew my previous company Yvolution to a turnover of $60m and received many industry awards. I have extensive experience working in China. But for this project, we first needed to go to the home of all terrain boarding and collaborate on production with the legendary Dan Quinn of Fiik Skateboards who is leading our production efforts and knows a thing or two about off-road electric skateboards you might say!

Over the coming months will be working even harder to go from functioning prototype to production stage. We are giving ourselves sufficient time in order to be confident that we will ship to you by next summer.
