Z'lsle is a zombie apocalypse comic
book series that will be told in 3 volumes by illustrated by Lateef
Martin and co-written by Lateef Martin and Isabelle Duguay. This campaign will fund the first volume composed of 6 issues.
The original concept was created by Lateef and illustrator Dan
Buller who felt they had something to add to the genre. Where The Walking Dead continues
after the credits of your average zombie film, Z'Isle asks: what would life be like seven years later?

Most zombie stories are about people trying to escape the problem. In Z'Isle, the people of Montreal have decided to live with it. As a result new systems have been put in place. Bike paths shelled in the carcasses of city buses stretch for miles. Maniacal Larpers have become hired swords. Zip lines and quick bridges create roofways between buildings. The Framework is place. But you fellow Z'Islanders, have the opportunity to help fill it out! YOU are a crucial part of what makes

What We Need & What You Get
We require $6000 (CAD) to create the
first 6 issues that compose Volume 1 of a 3 Volume trilogy! (that's 18 issues
for the Count Draculas out there)
The lionshare will go to Lateef
Martin to write and draw all six issues of Z'Isle over the span of a year
with an issue coming out every two months. It will also cover the cost of
some of the the brain-exploding
rewards coming your way including:
- Prints of the first 6 issues of Z'isle
- Buttons, stickers, fridge magnets and posters
- Replicas of bike-forged weapons from the world of
Z'Isle such as the gear axe and gear mace
- 4x4 acrylic paintings of a scene from Z'Isle
- 'Survival' gear from Xtreme Paraphilia
- A Z'Isle-themed longboard by Revolutionary Longboards
