Zombie Babies is the latest film from indie director Eamon Hardiman (Porkchop). When a group of pregnant couples head to an abandoned hotel to take advantage of the shady proprietor’s new painless late-term abortion method, they never suspect that the fetuses will return to life, hungry for human flesh and, more importantly, bwains.
The film stars Kaylee Williams (The Many Monsters of Sarah Roth), Ruby LaRocca (Flesh for the Beast), Ford Austin (Dahmer Vs. Gacy), and a host of other incredibly talented actors.
Production begins July the 17th and, since we recently had some funding fall through, we need your help to raise the extra cash we need to make this film. The catch? We’ve only got two weeks to do it.
What will your donation be going towards? Well, making the extra babies we need, for one. Our babies will be brought to life through the magic of puppetry, stop-motion animation, and other conventional special effects methods, not any of that CG crap Hollywood tries to pass off as realistic. We’re making a film in the vein of Puppet Master, Gremlins, all those great movies of our childhood.
What else will your donation help with? Equipment. We’re lucky to be shooting on the latest generation of HDSLR cameras, including the Canon 5D, 7D, and Rebel T2i. Unfortunately, being a relatively new format, we’ve had to start most of our equipment purchases over from scratch. This means lenses, filters, memory cards, etc. Your donation will actually be up there on the screen in the way our film looks.
And finally, you’ll be able to feed an entire cast and crew.
