Natalie Torkelson is an intern with the SharksCount Program. She helped develop this initiative as part of an internship that is a graduation requirement for a Masters of Professional Science in Marine Conservation from UM's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. Before moving to Miami she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Hawaii. Natalie has always had a love and respect for the ocean that stems from snorkeling and diving with her father.
