The world of modernity is intertwined with the world of history. Myths and legends keep coming back and repeating themselves in our lives. The proposed installation is timed to coincide with this year's theme at Burning Man Waking Dreams and intends to immerse visitors into the legends of the god Brahma. It is said that in the universe in which we live is none other than Brahma, who creates the world through his dream, manifesting himself through the minds of mankind. The property of the consciousness of the god is to create reality through thought, as a passive observer of existence. The installation is meant to create a surreal and somnambulistic atmosphere of communication, a place where people meet.
Another legend of the God Brahma states that the creator of the cosmos, reclining on a lotus created a beautiful woman Shatarupa. The four-headed Brahma was so enraptured and excited by the beauty of his creation that he lost focus and began to feel fear that he might lose his creation. In this fever a fifth head grew on his body and directed its fluids (vibes) only at her. But, other god, the infinite nature of everything, the destroyer of illusions Shiva cut off this full of fear and misunderstanding fifth head with his trident, depriving Brahma's fever. He gave freedom to the woman Shatarupa, so that she too could realize herself with other creation. Afterwards Brahma release renewed fluids around the world.
The installation uses ancient mythological motifs, as well as Ukrainian symbolism. The motifs used from Indian mythology echo those of ancient Slavic art in Ukraine, preserved in such monuments as the Zbruсh, Kernosovoskii and other idols
The installation is intended to remind visitors about the events in Ukraine, to honor Ukrainians.
On the other hand the presence of Ukrainian installation abroad is also an expression of gratitude and friendship of Ukrainians to the world.
