JD has always been designing and building his own flying machines. He co-founded xCraft with fellow entrepreneur, Charles Manning in 2014. xCraft’s flagship offering, the X PlusOne combines vertical takeoff and landing capabilities with high speed flight. xCraft successfully crowd-funded the X PlusOne and then went on to fund another innovation, PhoneDrone Ethos a year later. JD and Charles appeared on ABC's Shark Tank in Fall, 2015 propelling the company into the public spotlight.
