Antonia Alvarez

My name is Antonia Alvarez and I am from Quito, Ecuador. I have been involved with the Galo Plaza Foundation for many years because it was founded by my great grandfather Galo Plaza, the past president of Ecuador. Galo Plaza was a true philanthropist. Gradually I have been falling in love with the community, the foundation and the people. The feeling I get every time I go to Zuleta is surreal because many children whom I have worked with call me by my name and greet me with enthusiasm.
