<p>Isabel’s work thus far has focused on immigration issues in the United States and Latin America. She has worked on projects such as a photo essay on female-dominated towns in Mexico, a multimedia project on witnessing the revolution in Cuba from the perspective of a deaf farmer, and a written and photo project on the mother of a gunshot victim in Queens. She has done freelance photography for the Associated Press and her work has appeared in the New York Times’ Lens blog, the Associated Press, Whitewall Magazine and CITY Magazine. She also co-founded The Tertulia, an arts blog for young adults living in New York City. Isabel graduated from New York University with a B.F.A. in Photography and Imaging and Journalism with a minor in Documentary Film.</p>
