Sawhorse Revolution

Our mission is to foster confident, community-oriented youth through the power of carpentry and craft.

Sawhorse Revolution is a registered, 501 (c)3 non-profit carpentry program for diverse youth. We work with students to become resourceful, conscientious and mature members of their communities by having them work alongside professional builders on inspiring projects. We offer both summer and after-school programming. Each fall and spring, Sawhorse undertakes new building projects rooted in our urban communities. Students work in crews to remodel or build new structures that meet local needs.
