<p>Born and raised in Minnesota &#8211; land of the freezin&#8217; sneezin&#8217;. Spent a decade working with young people in church and para-church organizations. Learned alot about life, people, America, the world, myself, and most importantly, God and His mysterious ways.</p> <p>Graduated with a B.S. degree in pastoral studies with a minor in youth.</p> <p>Began my video/film production company in 2003 called NLightN Productions. Won multiple Telly awards for video production. Became a lifetime member of the Silver Council after winning the Silver Telly in 2005.</p> <p>Wrote, produced and directed my first feature film that was completed and premiered in 2008 at the Great Lakes Film Festival, as well as multiple showings at the Beautiful Chateau Theatres in Rochester, MN to packed crowds.</p> <p><span class="caps">HEART</span> OF <span class="caps">THE</span> <span class="caps">CITY</span> is the story of a tough skateboard kid named Jason (Nate Styles) from a single-parent home who has found himself entangled in a life of crime and darkness. Meanwhile, Steve (John Farrell) is an increasingly frustrated minister at a well-respected church in town &#8211; the same church where his now deceased father-in-law ministered for 30 years. One night, as Steve as confronted by Jason and his friends, Jason&#8217;s words cut deep. Steve cannot forget the truth that came from this skateboarder &#8220;punk&#8221;. Steve decides what he must do &#8211; he will make Jason and his friends his new heavenly assignment. Unfortunately, Steve&#8217;s congregation is not as excited as he is about reaching wayward youths. Steve and Jason are on the same road, confused and unsure about their futures, as they begin a friendship that is about to bring changes they could not have possibly imagined.</p> <p>The film also was selected for a special screening at the 2009 Omaha Film Festival.</p> <p>Currently am seeking the next step for distribution of the film.</p> <p>I also write screenplays, am looking to have a second book published, and am directing a music video for the group <span class="caps">SMILING</span> <span class="caps">POLITELY</span></p>
