<p>Colin Bullock grew up sharing time between in the sleepy beachside town of Evans Head, NSW Australia, and the highland City of Mt Hagen, Papua New Guinea where his father worked. <br /> Fascinated by music and musicians from a young age, Colin would get lost in his parents record collection for hours on end, listening to albums front to back, sitting, immersing himself in as much music as he could get his hands and ears on. <br /> Now creating music of his own, with already two full-length records under his belt, Colin'&rsquo;s primary goal is to have people feel the same way about the music he is crafting. <br /> After high school, Colin began playing the local scene up and down the East Coast of Australia getting his live sound honed, gaining experience in management, booking the whole D.I.Y musician thing. He eventually got the idea many Australians do&hellip;. to travel. <br /> It takes a certain amount of courage to pack a backpack and two guitars, and a boxful of CD's travel across the globe to a country where you know but one person and peruse your music career, but that is exactly what Colin has done. Since landing on Canadian Soil 3 years ago, Colin has been making waves in the Canadian and US scene. Often referred to as the perfect mix between James Taylor and John Mayer, Colin best describes his music as Aussie flavored Indie-pop music. <br /> Colin is one of the hardest working musicians out there averaging 250 shows a year. Touring from coast to coast country-to-country wherever the gigs take him. Colin has opened for acts such as INXS, Xavier Rudd, Metric, Ash Grunwald, Colin James and secured many gigs of his own in venues throughout Canada the US and Australia. <br /> Colin's solo shows showcase his phenomenal way to create such a full sound from one man, his use of percussive guitar playing, stomp-box (foot drum), moody harmonica playing, and soulful vocal skills combine for a signiture sound that is all his own.. He often gets asked "what kind of backing tracks do you use" to which he is always happy to say "I'm not using any" and continue to show the person exactly how he creates that unique sound. <br /> When playing with the band, Colin is a fantastic front man, commanding the stage with an energy and Charisma you only get from experience. Colin&rsquo;s band set consists of Drums and percussion, Bass and pedal steel guitars. This young singer/songwriter has developed a loyal and strong following by keeping fans in touch and updated through social networks, mailing lists and his website and now looks to branch out and sprout new leaves throughout North America. Armed with a brand new album titled "As Young As We Are Now" Colin feels he finally has a product that represents where he's at musically and looks forward to promoting this record and playing it for as many people as he can.</p>
