<p><strong><em>Co-founder of ReaderUp - the game that rewards your child for reading</em></strong></p> <p>I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. I attended the University of California, Davis and earned my undergraduate degree in economics. After working for several years at technology companies like Digital Insight and Intuit, I moved to San Diego to pursue an MBA in entrepreneurship at the Rady School of Management, University of California, San Diego.</p> <p>I'm excited to be on the ReaderUp team and believe the world needs a product that brings the excitement for reading back to our youngest generation. Although I grew up playing video games and even using the Internet at a very young age, I still made time to pickup books and immerse myself in their words. I attribute my success in school and my lifetime pursuit of learning to those early days when I would spend hours reading my favorite stories. I hope ReaderUp will spur more book reading in "Generation Distraction" - the generation that has so many screens at their disposal (TV, laptop, phone, tablet, iPod) and bring much needed balance back to their lives.</p> <p>Please take a moment to read through our ReaderUp campaign and we appreciate any support that you can provide.
