I love making independent films.

Hey guys !! I just wanted to share a little bit more about my personal life with you. As you may know from reading a little bit on our biography page, I am a former law enforcement officer with over 20 years experience here in Mobile County Alabama. I loved my job helping people from all walks of life. Unfortunately, I was injured in the line of duty and I had to hang up my badge for good. It was a sad day for me and my family, friends and people who knew me well out in the field. The good part about my injury is that I can now bring you some of my experiences to film that I saw during my years of service. The funny thing is that some of those experiences have been written into the script called County Mounties are TRUE !! Yes !! TRUE !! As for me, I kind of stumbled into filmmaking back in 2000 by helping out arts and crafts services on the set of "Dead Birds". One of the producers (who's name we will not say due to privacy.. hehe !!) walked out of his nice air conditioned trailer and saw me working with the arts crew trying to make the pre-production deadline. He freaked out thinking I was going to get hurt and sue the production company. I told him I wasn't like that and I didn't mind helping out. I even told him i would even work for free as long as I could help out and learn a thing or two about movie making.. After we had our short discussion, I signed a contract. He saw that I was a hard worker so he signed me on as a Asst.Locations Manager instead as a production assistant. Everything else since then has just fallen into place making films etc.... Now that I have worked with a few film directors (in front of and behind the camera), I figure making independent films would be a great way for me to continue to serve my community. Thanks for reading more about me.

Your friend,

Mitch Bryars Jr
