Since 1997, he has been a president of the Human Rights Centre "Steps" n. a. Leo Tolstoy. His active social activity and creativity are related to the protection of human, animal and environmental rights. In 2000 he received the title of "Person of the Year - Person of the Millennium" in the “Nature Defender of the Year” category (Ukraine, Kiev). In 2004 he created a film studio “Steps”, the main idea of which is making socially significant films.
