James Shippy is a native of Texas. He attended Atlantic’s Acting School founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy in New York City. And he attended Atlantic Acting School’s Los Angeles Film Conservatory where he was taught by David Mamet, Clark Gregg, Felicity Huffman and numerous other teachers. His first short film as a writer, Finding Neptune, is making its way on the festival circuit, while he is currently developing the full-length version titled Color of Neptune.
