Loreto Rodríguez

West Hollywood, California, United States

Born in Seville, but raised in both Spain and Italy. Loreto received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Science in Seville in 2005, and then moved to Barcelona in search of greater opportunities in her field. It was here that she would spend the next year working with a major commercial Production Company, before moving to Drimtim Entertainment, a Film and Television Production and Distribution Company.

While at Drimtim, Loreto was involved in every aspect of the filmmaking process, from development to the final print. All of the company’s films were shot in Barcelona with Spanish crew, American cast members and key department heads flown in from the United States. During her four years at Drimtim she had the opportunity to work with producer John Kelly ('Into the Wild' and '127 Hours') as well as actors like Academy award-winner Timothy Hutton, Dean Cain and Tara Reid. To compliment her hands-on education, she earned a post-graduate degree in Line Producing at ESCAC (Cinema School of Catalunya.)

After six films with Drimtim Entertainment, Loreto went on to help Roger Corbi and Yan Fisher-Romanovsky start their new company, FishCorb Films. The company is based in both Barcelona and Los Angeles and is responsible for producing Lifetime’s first Latin-oriented movie 'Lies in Plain Sight'. FishCorb Films has since gathered a very diverse slate of projects now in various stages of development.

After receiving the renowned scholarship Becas Talentia in Spain, Loreto decided to continue her education by getting her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film and Television Producing at the New York Film Academy at Universal Studios, Hollywood. While at school, she supplemented her education by interning at Ram Bergman’s Production Company giving her the chance to work on Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s feature film directorial debut.
