Hi-techie turned social entrepreneur
On a 2011 visit to India, I encountered beautiful children living in awful slum conditions in Mumbai and I decided that I had to do something to help them. I left my hi-tech job and started an organization called Gabriel Project Mumbai that provides nutrition and literacy to children in the slums of Mumbai. Today, GPM provides hot, nutritious meals every day to 1000 children, age 3-14 in school, keeping them off the streets and enabling them to receive education and nutrition that they deserve
