Marisa is a 5th year Directing MFA Candidate at Columbia University, making Dalliance her Thesis. From 2004 to 2005 she spent time as a Casting Assistant in Los Angeles. After taking Screenwriting courses at UCLA Extension and attending Robert McKee’s Story Seminar she furthered her artistic education at the Ivy League level. She has since directed three short films. In 2014, her film, “Fault Lines”, received Faculty Honors at CUFF and had it’s world premier at the Austin Film Festival.
