Hi, I'm Alex Coburn. I'm a second-year Ithaca College Park Scholar majoring in Cinema and Photography. I've been making films since I was 14, and I released and screened my first feature, "Valerie," in 2016. Since coming to Ithaca, I have directed three shorts: "In Dreams," "Love Bites," and James B. Pendleton Award-winning "Nina, Nina." I am a strong advocate for women in film and believe young women should have more access and opportunities to tell their stories through the cinematic medium.
