A filmmaker seeking the unique in the ordinary

I was born in Kolkata, India. I moved to Los Angeles in the early nineties to study filmmaking at USC. Over the last ten years I've made several televised documentaries: For Here or To-go?, Pepino Mango Nance and Taking the Heat. My most recent, a short narrative titled Audacity has played internationally - in film festivals as well as on television and in theaters. My next film, Parting Shots is a bold, no-holds-barred comedy about the not-so-cuddly aspects of growing old in America.
