Thomas Balogh

Thomas Balogh is a great enthusiast of famous ocean liners. He is chairman for the Society of Shipping History, Modelling and Tradition, the oldest and biggest NGO connected with maritime history in Hungary. He is an organiser of exhibitions, and author of several books on Hungarian maritime history and co-author of 'In the Shadow of the Titanic' with the granddaughter of Dr. Árpád Legyel, who was the doctor onboard the liner R.M.S. Carpathia, the rescue ship for Titanic survivors.
