The World Soundtrack Awards, launched in 2001 by Film Fest Gent, are awarded annually to mark and celebrate outstanding achievements in scoring music for motion pictures and television. Since many years, the World Soundtrack Awards (WSAwards) successfully puts both established and up coming film music composers in the limelight. We believe film music deserves appropriate recognition for its integral role in filmmaking.
