Lauretta holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut Professional Actor Training Program, where she studied with Dale AJ Rose. She also trained with Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre during their clowning and theatrical movement intensive in Denmark. Currently, she studies West African dance with master teacher and choreographer Maguette Camara and djembe drumming with master djembefola Pablo Dembele.
