<p>An accomplished entrepreneur, Omar has overseen the development and growth of a group of successful start-up companies in the digital media and technology sectors over the past 15 years. Omar has also completed several stints consulting with some of the world&rsquo;s largest technology companies, including Microsoft and Cisco, allowing him to develop an extensive commercial and financial acumen.Omar is now chief executive of Union Roth Capital, a company that provides venture capital and consultancy services to a range of technology and media ventures.</p> <p>Beyond his business exploits, Omar has always held an affinity with the film industry. He is a founder and director of the South Yorkshire Film Network and a long-time voting member of the Australian Film Institute (<span class="caps">AFI</span>). Omar recently served as Executive Producer on Cinemagine&rsquo;s 35mm short, Waiting for<br /> Gorgo, and is involved in the same capacity with Cinemagine&rsquo;s feature slate.</p>
