<p><strong>What is Sugartooth Tours?</strong></p> <p>Sugartooth Tours is a new dessert tasting tour launching in the late fall of 2012 in Manhattan. On our food tours, our licensed NYC tour guides take a group (ranging in size from 2-16 people) through a neighborhood giving historical and a culinary background to the city and specific neighborhoods while tasting some of the best local sweets.</p> <p>Our tours are special because we are dedicated to serving the sweet-tooth in everyone. We seek to provide the best customer experience through high quality tastings, superior customer service, and friendly and informed tour guides.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Meet the owners:</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Co-owners Allyson Tolbert and Sarah Rolleston come from a theatrical background. After getting their degrees at University of Florida and Ithaca College (respectively) they both performed in multiple national Broadway tours. One could say that they ate their way across the United States and Canada while touring with the shows, searching out the best local foods in each city, and often going on food tours. Now back in New York City, they have decided to share their love of food, specifically the sweet stuff, with the rest of the world.</p> <p><strong>About culinary tourism:</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Culinary tourism is defined as experiencing the food of a country, region, or area, and is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways to explore a city. Not only is tourism in New York City on the rise, but culinary tourism is on the rise all across the United States and the entire world. One of the great aspects of culinary tourism is that it appeals not only to tourists, but also to locals.
