<p>Grace McPhillips is the founder of Sterling Rock Productions, which has produced multiple short films currently being screened at film festivals internationally.&nbsp; She serves as an elected council member to the Screen Actors Guild for the Midwest, and is chair of the organizing committee of SAG/AFTRA Chicago.&nbsp; Her brainchild series, &ldquo;Piece of the Pie&rdquo; recently made Chicago the number one test market nationwide for professional education of working pre-union actors and Producers. &nbsp;Serving for 3 years on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Production Alliance (responsible for the Illinois tax incentive, one of the best in the nation), she secured national attention from Variety Magazine and the Hollywood Reporter as the Alliance&rsquo;s Marketing Chair.&nbsp; She also founded the Chicago Acting in Film Meetup, a nonprofit professional mentorship group of 260+ working screen actors.</p> <p>&nbsp;As an accomplished actress in Chicago, Grace has worked behind the microphone, voicing several nationwide advertising campaigns, including Reynolds Wrap, Crystal Light, Walmart, and Midas. In front of the camera she has starred in several independent films. And on stage she worked in Chicago&rsquo;s storefront theatres and has danced with the Lyric Opera of Chicago.&nbsp; She continues to study and teach acting and voiceover technique.</p> <p>&nbsp;In 1986 Grace and her sister ceremoniously unveiled a sign commemorating the &ldquo;F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum&rdquo; located in Montgomery, Alabama.&nbsp; Grace&rsquo;s family had saved the former home of the famous couple from demolition, preserved a piece of history, and unknowingly set Grace on course toward developing and producing <em>Beautiful Little Fools</em>.</p> <p>&nbsp;In the past three years, Grace conceived the idea for the film, raised capital to hire a professional screenwriter, Carrie Stett, and has consulted numerous moviemaking professionals in Hollywood, New York, and Chicago.&nbsp; Through this careful development and guided approach she feels confident that <em>Beautiful Little Fools </em>will be a successful movie and profitable business endeavor.</p>
