<p>CANDi-Cats and Dogs International (CANDi International) is a unique animal welfare organization that works with tourists, the tourism industry and animal lovers to provide for the humane treatment of animals at international tourist destinations where there are no resources to help them. Many of the world’s most beautiful vacation spots lack any government funding or support to help stray cats and dogs who are left to die of starvation, disease, or abuse in the streets or inhumanely euthanized by cruel methods such as poisoning, hanging, drowning, and electrocution. CANDi International’s spay and neuter, adoption, and education programs to help animals have been already been successful in Cancun, Mexico, and can be easily implemented at any location in the world with more support.</p>
