Ben Townsend, is a multi-instrumentalist (former member of the Hackensaw Boys and The Fox Hunt) and has been playing Old Time music all his life. Before this trip he had never ridden a bicycle long distance and had hardly ever ridden one at all for that matter. Ben Guzman, from Los Angeles, is a veteran cyclist who plays the fiddle (Triple Chicken Foot and The High Life Cajun Band) and is one of the founding members of The Los Angeles Old Time Social and The Bicycle Kitchen.
