Retired 63 year old divorced straight male.

Born in Norway; moved to Sacramento, CA, in 1976; worked as mechanic, truck driver, and magazine writer. Began participating in Kinetic Sculpture Racing in 2001, building horribly heavy vehicles. Continues to participate in most West Coast races. Began participating in the Burning Man art festival in 2006. Organized Theme Camp "Kinetic Sculpture Race Camp" in 2007. Began concentrating on "Elliot's Bicycle Service & Piano Bar" in 2012. Also volunteers with Gate, Perimeter & Exodus.
