Zara started her career as a backing vocalist for Bob Geldof and various bands in England. She moved to the States and recorded two albums with grammy winning producer Ted Perlman. Some of her songs have been used as background music in TV and film.Zara recently recorded a song "I'm Legit" with RUN DMC. Both of them are adopted and activists for the adopted and they were active in the campaign to get birth records open in NYC and NJ. Her book "Mother Me" was published in both US and UK.
