Being an Astrology Coach, Inspirational Speaker, and Singer/Songwriter? It's all the same to me—I am just here to serve, to have fun in the process and bring joy into the lives of as many people as possible. Nurturing and inspiring others makes me feel so alive that I've come to believe that it is what I was born to do. I still have a certificate from the 2nd grade acknowledging me for "being considerate to others." I remember asking my mom what con-sid-er-ate meant, and when she explained it, I beamed. How wonderful of a school to have an awards day simply to acknowledge what makes each child special! My 7-year-old self is still beaming upon thinking about that moment.
However, my life did not begin with quite as much ease. Being born with an acute kidney infection and to a bipolar father had me, at times, wishing for a different life at a very young age. Years of sickness and emotional abuse had made it very difficult for me to shine my light amidst so much darkness.

Yet, somehow (with the help of a deeply compassionate mother), I managed to remain the girl who wrote poetry, sang songs in front of large groups of people, and wore weird combinations of clothing that the other kids made fun of. It was that willingness to create joy for myself that allowed me to find beauty within such struggle. Even better, I learned how joyful it is when I provide the space for others to fully express themselves as well. By sharing my unique voice, I was igniting the voice of others.

This love of sharing joy with others, coupled with a deep desire to understand led me to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison alongside extensive coursework in Philosophy and Religious Studies. After dabbling in office work, inspirational speaking, regional musical theatre, pastoral care lay ministry, and facilitating meeting upon endless meeting, I discovered Life Coaching and graduated from the ICF accredited school, Coach For Life in February of 2007. I am now combining my music, 12+ years of astrological knowledge, public speaking and writing with Life Coaching to make it a career beyond my wildest expectations. Life, with both its darkness and light, truly is good, and I would love nothing more than to travel on this journey with you for a while.
