I love traditional music and performance art from all over the world. The arts preserve and cultivate a culture’s history and provides it’s people a sense of dignity, self respect and belonging. It provides a bridge for understanding and celebrating our diversity and common ground. Being a musician for the past 33 years has taken me to many countries and afforded me opportunities and experiences that have changed me forever. Through the arts I hope to be a cultural bridge for my community.
