Founder, Executive Director of unCommon Construction

In 2005, I dropped out of college and responded to Hurricane Katrina with the Red Cross. Since then, I've been the least skilled worker at a day labor company, a Red Cross volunteer, an AmeriCorps NCCC member, a Habitat for Humanity House Leader and a Teach for America Corps member. Still, I'm most proud of the fact that I haven't paid for a haircut in nearly 10 years.
