The Long Journey (Story of Sebastian Raine/Shan Pena)
Shannon Pena (Sebastian Raine) was born in San Jose, California but grew up in Washington State. She graduated from Orting High School and was the first woman to take a female date to the prom (in a tuxedo no less!) She spent time living in and around the Puyallup area, eventually moved to Olympia, where she got involved in things that are better left unsaid. She went to Prison and served 7 and a half years in both Washington Corrections Center for Women and Mission Creek Corrections Center for Women. She trained to be a Wildland Firefighter through the Department of Natural Resources and was hired upon her release. Shortly after leaving prison, Shannon (Bash) joined the staff of the Pat Graney company, doing the Project Coordinator Job for Keeping the Faith/The Prison Project, which she has done for the past four years. She is currently in Chef School at Le Cordon Bleu, and is looking forward to graduating in August of this year. She is the proud grandmother of Malia Naoma Lynn.<br>
