Jean Lee

Originally set for law school, writer/director Jean Lee became interested in film as an advocacy tool when she directed and shot an investigative documentary on Philadelphia’s sex trafficking industry. Excited by the power of communicating across all cultures in a meaningful and entertaining way, Lee decided to become a filmmaker. Most recently, her projects have been accepted into the Sundance Screenwriter's Intensive, Film Independent Director's Lab, and AFI Directing Workshop for Women.
