Lex Non Scripta is a cut-paper artist, found object lover, poster maker, illustrator, and organizer. Often portrayed with a dash of irony and a smattering of sarcasm, Lex’s creative focus is heavily informed by social justice/practice/responsibility, an ever-expanding doctrine of transgressive politics, the futility of modern society, and self sufficiency in/critical investigation of the queer diaspora. Lex is co-founder of Aorta: a collectively-produced radical magazine for/by/about women and queers in the arts, a resident artist at Million Fishes Arts Collective, and has recently started Argot Printshop, a one-person poster factory with prints that benefit radical, social justice, and community oriented projects and organizations.
