Jon Barr

Jon Barr is a filmmaker and an assistant professor at Eastern New Mexico University where he teaches screenwriting, editing, and directing. His work covers the spectrum from conventional narrative to experimental documentary and animation. Regardless of form his work explores themes of power and relationship. His short drama, The Paradigm Shift, screened at 19 festivals and has won several awards. His latest project, Orgullo, is a short drama about New Mexican family, folklore, and tradition.
