My story begins...

...like that of so many other creative women in their thirties. "I had a baby..."

My intention was to be a stay-at-home mom but that DIY side of me was not quite fulfilled by my new role in life. I got back into the studio in the afternoons while my son napped. Playtime in the studio grew into an Etsy shop which grew into doing craft shows which grew into establishing an indie-craft market in my town.

Now, at the beginning of only my second year on this adventure, I am enjoying my first placement in a print publication (Southern Living Magazine, September issue.) I am also three short months away from transitioning my studio and the street market into a brick&mortar boutique, something that was originally the goal of a 5-year plan.

The excitement just keeps growing and the best part is that I have managed to do it all without putting my son in daycare. I'm busy. So very busy. I'm exhausted by the end of each day. But I'm living a lovely life and wake up each morning rested and filled with gratitude.
