Massage is my passion

In 2004 I was working as a internet based application tester at a large insurance company. Generally disatisfied with my job, I was looking for a career change and found massage therapy. I went to school full time with my wife, a wonderful woman I had met while she worked in the wellness department at the same insurance company and we graduated massage school together at the end of 2004. Starting my new career, I worked from the ground up. I held the position of spa attendant for minimmum wage. I washed sheets, helped set up for services and cleaned the treatment rooms of a local and well known high end day spa. Once licensed I was able to move into the position of massage therapist and my passion and love for the work quickly elevated me to be tied with the most requested therapist for repeat clientelle. In 2008 I opened Divine Massage Therapy on Millwood. The recession was a tough time to try and grow a massage therapy business but I was able to maintain until I moved into a new space shared with a salon. At that time Sarah (now my wife) joined me in the business and brought her experience as a wellness practitioner, massage therapist and MBA graduate of the Moore School of Business. Since then we have grown our staff to a total of 6 LMTs and have out grown our space. Knowing we were beginning to reach the capacity of our 2-room facility, we began looking for a new space and found 3030 Devine Street. It seemed serendipitous because of our name sake and the 4,400 square foot facility had everything we would need and more. We look forward to becoming the best massage therapy practice in the Columbia area by continuing to provide excellent service at a reasonable price in a charming and convenient location. Yours in Good Health, Wyck and Sarah Beiderwell Divine Massage Therapy
