Derek Spaldo

Derek Spaldo is a writer/director, actor, and musician. Born in Rutherford, New Jersey. Graduate of Eugene Lang College, The New School for Liberal Arts. Derek has worked with artists including Peter Jacobs, Christina Masciotti, Richard Maxwell/New York City Players, and Zishan Ugurlu. His plays have been staged at venues in NYC including AUNTS, Dixon Place, Greenpoint Pre-Apocalyptic Theatre Festival, and La Mama. His new play PLAYGROUND will open at The Brick Theater August 21-30, 2014.
