New album by Chloe Mons
<p class="western" style="widows: 0; orphans: 0;"><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Born in 1972 in Lille, France, I grew up in an eclectic family where the rock' n' roll and the contemporary art are very present.</span></span> <br /></span></p> <p class="western" style="widows: 0; orphans: 0;"><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">In 1994, in Paris, after an acting school (the Conservatoire), and a master in movie, I go from small roles on white screen to the writing of my diary and songs. Notesbooks are always in my bag.</span></span></span></p> <p class="western" style="widows: 0; orphans: 0;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman,serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">In 2002, I record the </span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Cantique des cantiques</strong></span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"> with my husband Alain Bashung.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p class="western" style="widows: 0; orphans: 0;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman,serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">In 2006, two discs are realesed : </span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Chienne d’un Seul</strong></span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">, in solo </span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">and </span></span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>La Ballade de Calamity Jane</strong></span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">, a “sound movie” , in which feature Rodolphe Burger and Alain Bashung.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p class="western" style="widows: 0; orphans: 0;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman,serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">In 2009, after a tour, totally alone on stage, with concerts throught France, USA and England, I release a new opus </span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Par la Rivière</strong></span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">, an album where the punk music meets the country music.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p class="western" style="widows: 0; orphans: 0;"><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Beside this music road, I regularly collaborates with artists (Myriam Mechita, Delphine Kreuter…), photographers (Tom Sewell in particular, who will have a decisive role) or directors, visual elements being essential for my music. I am also an actress, passing from a role to another with freedom.</span></span> <br /></span></p> <p class="western" style="widows: 0; orphans: 0;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman,serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">In 2011, after having travelled a lot to Africa and to the USA, I go to Kingston in the state New York to record my new album </span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Walking</strong></span></span></span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: ArialMT,Times,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"> with Malcolm Burn.
