multi award-winning documentary director
Chilean/German documentary filmmaker Estephan Wagner began his career studying Theatre at the <a target="_blank" title="La Mancha" href="http://lamancha.cl/ini_en.html">‘International School of Image and Gesture’</a> in Santiago, Chile. <br><br>In 1999 he moved to Germany to work as film AP and editor. Later he studied Film Editing at the <a target="_blank" title="ndr" href="http://www.ndr.de">Northern German Broadcaster NDR</a>. Afterwards he moved to France and worked as <a target="_blank" title="arte" href="http://www.arte.tv">editor for ‘ARTE’</a>. <br><br>In 2007 he moved to London to make the Documentary Direction MA at the National Film and Television school. His graduation film <a target="_blank" title="Waiting For Women" href="http://www.estephanwagner.com/este/Waiting.html">WAITING FOR WOMEN</a> premiered at <a target="_blank" title="Awards" href="http://www.estephanwagner.com/este/Awards.html">IDFA and won the Palm Springs International Festival Best Student documentary award, among over a dozen other prizes</a>.<br><br>He then directed and shot <a target="_blank" title="Finishing Line" href="http://www.estephanwagner.com/este/Finishing.html">THE FINISHING LINE, a prime time documentary for Channel 4</a>, while developing VANISHING WORLDS.
