Apple Art & Tempting Treats!
<p>Chef Nikaela Brown has been passionate about food for what seems like her entire life. From growing up in the kitchen with a multi-cultural family and working with her parents at their Italian deli, she gained experience in the industry at a young age. As a 2nd generation “apple maker,” her grandfather used to make candied apples from scratch as a treat for the family. She is carrying on this tradition today in her beautiful culinary work with sweets and desserts.</p> <p>In the years she attended culinary school she learned to design, perfect, and market wonderful foods. Working with a major chocolate retail franchise gave the much needed experience in how to specifically craft artisan treats. Nikaela has been catering and working as a personal/corporate chef for close to seven years. Business courses as well as a seven year career as a corporate customer service trainer has led to indisputable people skills and management knowledge. Determination and ambition are very important to Nikaela. She has also applied/auditioned for Top Chef, Hell’s Kitchen, and Chopped. She likes to think, “You never know until you try!”</p> <p>As a parent of two beautiful children, the capacity for multi-tasking is a must. She looks forward to having a successful business and including them in its future. Her daughter (13) is excited to learn about advertising and sales, while her son (4) loves to approve products during the taste-testing process! The growing business has truly been a “family affair!”</p>
