Carrie Edel Isaacman

New York, New York, United States

<div>I have a cousin who told me when I first moved to New York that I would really have to produce and create my own work. &nbsp;I took that to heart and ever since then have always looked for circumstances where I could do just that. &nbsp; As a result I have won awards for my work as a producer:&nbsp;&nbsp;OOBR award for Pericles, originally produced at Expanded Arts in 2000 and a critics award for my short film "A Double Whammy" from WNET Reel 13.</div> <div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>I am currently working towards my credential and masters in K-12 Education. &nbsp;I have acting training and have learned production partly through my Undergraduate work at San Francisco State University and partly through being a member at WorkShop Theater Company where I have initiated projects. I cherish the gifts that children have to offer adults and I want so much to teach students to think for themselves while encouraging them to meet expectations set by the educational standards and to look beyond the that to think about what they want out of thier own education and to contribute to the world.</div> </div>
